We believe in one true God, the eternal creator and ruler of the universe. He has revealed Himself in three co-equal, co-existing persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.(GEN 1:1, 26, 27; 3:22; PSM 90:2; MAT 28:19)
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ; His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit; His virgin birth; His sinless life; His miracles; His vicarious and atoning death on the cross for the sins of mankind; His bodily resurrection; His ascension into heaven to sit at the right hand of God; and His imminent return to this earth. (ISA 9:6; JHN 1:1-5; HEB 1:3; 4:14, 15)
We believe in the present active ministry of the Holy Spirit. He is present in the world to make mankind aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He lives in every believer from the moment of salvation. He provides the believer with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives a spiritual gift to every believer for ministry in the world. He empowers the believer to live faithfully for Jesus Christ. (JHN 16:7-11; 1CO 12:4-11; GAL 5:25)
We believe that man was created in the image of God, but willfully sinned (rebelled against God), and is therefore spiritually separated from God. (GEN1:1, 26-27; 3:6-19; PSM 8:3; ROM 3:23)
We believe that the salvation of man is completely the work of God. He offers this as a free gift of grace to anyone who will believe and receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. (JHN 1:12; 14:6; ROM 3:22, 23; 5:1;6:23; EPH 2:4-5; 1CO 1:30)
We believe the church is established by Jesus Christ to carry out His work in the world and to promote His kingdom on earth. We believe that God works through His church by gifted believers to draw people to Himself. (MAT 28:16-20; EPH 1:22, 23)
